Custom art for your home, workplace, or altar.
Your Ideas + My Expertise = Custom Art
Much like an experience with a tattoo artist, you tell us as much or as little as you want, and we fill in the rest. To start, have a color scheme and size in mind. You don’t want something too little, too big, or too red (not that there’s anything wrong with red).
“April did an amazing job on this for me. This is a quote my husband and I love. I framed this and hung it in our kitchen so we can remember to have fun.” - Payal
“Mother stitcher made an amazing cross stitch for my sons nursery. Custom lyrics and matched the nursery theme ! Awesome artwork and amazing customer service.” - Matt
“GORGEOUS! I adore this piece hung over my TV so I can look at it all the time. Wonderful communication from seller. Everything I asked for and more!” - Amanda
Who We Are
Mother Stitcher Studio is a team of sisters from the DC region. Military brats from childhood (and, for one of us, adulthood), we had to entertain ourselves on cross-country relocation trips. Cross stitching took center stage.
We dabbled with the hobby in adulthood, but only during The Quarantine™ did we turn our passion into this business.
Our business name - Mother Stitcher Studio - is intentional. We’re mothers before we’re stitchers. That, combined with the fact that our work is customized to each buyer, means you aren’t getting your purchase in a day or two. Custom art takes time. (As does raising children, so bear with us.) We’re always up-front about the realistic time it will take to create your work.
